Reaching over 5,500 students, staff and faculty, our newsletters are the best way to stay informed about community service opportunities in the St. Louis region as well as nonprofit internships, fellowships and scholarships

Newsletter Editions
The Wednesday edition focuses on community service opportunities with nonprofit agencies in the St. Louis community, nationally and internationally. Opportunities include grants, scholarships, internships, jobs and trainings.
The Friday edition focuses on community service initiatives coordinated by members of the Washington University community.

The Graduate/Professional edition focuses on community service opportunities of specific relevance to graduate and professional students at Washington University. It is distributed periodically (two to three times per month).
The K-12 Connections edition keeps subscribers informed of one-time and short-term volunteer opportunities with urban education in St. Louis. Subscribers learn about special events or public lectures related to urban education as well as workshops and training sessions.

Spread the Word
Publicize your community service opportunity in a newsletter. You may submit your announcement in advance of when you would like it to run; please indicate which date you would like your announcement included.
Submission Deadlines:
Wednesday edition: Monday at midnight
Friday edition: Wednesday at midnight
Graduate/Professional edition: Monday at midnight
Additional Ways to Spread the Word about Your Effort
Post on the Community Service Office Facebook page. Become a fan of our page and post your announcements whenever you wish.
Publicize on flat-screen TVs in the Danforth University Center. Students, staff and faculty may submit slides in JPG format directly to ductv@wustl.edu. Our office will create and submit slides for community agencies that advertise in the Wednesday edition of the newsletter.
Summer News
Because most students are not in the St. Louis area during the summer, the Community Service Office newsletters function on a very limited basis from May to mid-August each year. If you would like to receive periodic summer updates or submit a summer announcement, please email us.
